Burnout and anxiety level of healthcare professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey

BACKGROUND: COVID-19 has affected many countries in the world and been known as one of fast-spreading viruses recent history. OBJECTIVE: Our aim is to reveal level anxiety burnout, attitudes, thoughts, behaviors healthcare professionals about Turkey. METHODS: The individuals included study answered seven questions containing demographic information, 27 determining their views perspectives on COVID-19. Anxiety was measured by Beck Scale (BAI), State Inventory (SAI); burnout Maslach Burnout (MBI). RESULTS: We 66 health staff (50 female, 16 male) whose mean age 31.71±5.18 years (22–46 ranged). Twenty-two (33.3%) participants worked frontline while 44 (66.6%) them usual wards. found that participants’ at a moderate BAI (mean: 14.00±12.66). SAI 49.93±13.06. MBI subscales were low. there significant difference between those who wards (p = 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: It important consider all help protect mental health.
